DMC 4

“Yes, a new Devil may cry game coming out,” were my thought when I saw the trailer on the Xbox live marketplace. Sadly it was a major disappointment.

The game I awesome ……in the first hour. The moves that Nero has are cool, but I got bored of his moves after 40 minutes of game play. Why, you may ask, well because he’s pretty much limited to the same 3 hit combos and grapple of his devil arm. Please recollect those memories of DMC3 and the variety of attacks, such as surfing on the demons and interacting with the environment, such as the stripper pole, my personal favorite. This is DMC game is just Sword Strike x3 then grapple, That is all I did, I wanted to use new moves, before you people call me lazy in DMC 1 AND 3 I WOULD TAKE AS AMNY HITS AS POSSIBLE JUST TO DO 1 TRICK OR 1 NEW COMBO. Some cool aspects of fighting were the grapples, each would change with the demon you were fighting and Nero had an awesome peace of equipment, A SWORD THAT SOUNDS LIKE A MOTORCYLCE, however capcom screwed up the sword, the sword takes too long to get to max potential and when you do get it too max potential it only last ONE sword strike,.

Another thing I hate about DMC 4 is the cut scenes. They were B-E-A-UTIFUL, but they were way too many of them. Here’s an example, I stood in front of some lasers that I had to jump across and the movie clip HAD to come on and zoom in on them, can anyone please tell me the point of it really. And they’re several just like that. The only ones worth you’re time are the storyline clips.

Here’s where Capcom got really lazy. When you play Dante you have to play every level that Nero played, no alternate rounds, no new puzzles, the exact same level, and you have to fight the same boss AGAIN. They totally ripped you off half the game, and it totally ruined the experience.

Before all you DMC fan boys get pissed I’m just going to go on record and say I too am a DMC fan, but not to the point where I have to ignore the fact that this was an awful game, if you’re one of those people who says “OMG this game was amazing” you had to not have played any other DMC’s or such a fan boy you’re willing to turn the other cheek at the intestinal crap capcom ahs spilled forth. If you want future DMC games to be good, don’t be a fan boy and point out the games faults it hopes that capcom will read and make a better game.

well ive played DM3, and not the others yet.

speaking of repitition, when i first started to play DM3, i was getting my ass handed to me by the centipide monster (by then i didnt have alot of health) so i did the slow way and repeated the first few levels (up to cerberus) repeatedly until i upgraded EVERYTHING i had then (sawn off, handguns, sword, nunchucks) yea it took me some time too. but eventually i maxed them out and kicked that centipides ass, and so on forth till i beat the game....on easy.

but yea it does sound repititious, but if ur like me who gets console games every 6 months, u almost would play anything, even if u hate itcrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycrycry
