Rainbow 6 Vegas was riddled with glitches and had many people pissed off, none the less the multiplayer was still pretty decent. When Vegas 2 was announced, most people thought something like YAY, a new multiplayer game, maybe they fixed all the problems…… they didn’t.
I’m not a stickler for graphics but USUALLY when a sequel to a franchise comes out graphics are usually the first things to be updated, In Vegas 2 the graphics are only a little better. When I say little I mean very little. The only I difference I saw was textures, and lighting.
Game play is the same, except now you can sprint, but other than that it is the same.
Multiplayer is what really pissed me off. Its not because the shotguns are sometimes overpowered (I know how long a shotgun can fire, I just think being able to snipe with one is a tad bit overpowered), or that spawn camping still happens, or when you put on body armor, shoulder pads, and leg pads that are full on bullet resistance and you still die from 2 pistol bullets( the same as the guy with no armor), my anger is geared towards the team making this game. Despite all the complaints that people had with the Vegas 1, the only thing they did to stop spawn killing was make you invincible for 5 seconds, that’s bull****, spawn camping still happens ruining a good game. Also in Vegas 1 you had 2 different locations to choose from in Vegas 2 you only have 1, and do that maps in Vegas 2 seem smaller to anyone else?
I did like the fact that terrorist hunts were harder, and on death matches you have to be more strategic, you only have 2 lives for those unaware, and A.C.E.S. was a good addition to the game.
So pretty much if you’re thinking about buying this game, only buy it if you’re a die hard fan of Vegas 1 other than that its pretty much Vegas 1.5 instead of Vegas 2.
